There is little research regarding how parents can support their children who have been exposed to domestic violence. Additionally, there is a noticeable gap in domestic violence services for children after domestic violence.<\/p>\n<p>Brianna Brennan, LMFT will explain how attachment-based family therapy (ABFT) can be applied with families who have been impacted by domestic violence. Participants will not only learn about the clinical implications for working with traumatized caregivers, but also how ABFT can help clinicians target therapeutic goals with caregivers to support their child in the aftermath of domestic violence.
