The ABFT Advanced Workshop is <\/span>appropriate for<\/span> those who have previously attended the full ABFT Introductory Workshop. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Advanced Workshop will further develop the skills of therapists who have started using ABFT with their clients. The advanced training is a follow-up, intensive, workshop with some didactic presentations, exercises, therapy demonstration tapes, discussion, and role-play. Participants will learn about the use of emotion-focused skills in the context of ABFT as well as discuss and explore person of the therapist issues impacting one\u2019s work. Participants will have the opportunity to identify challenges faced when implementing all 5 tasks of the ABFT model, discuss these challenges and practice managing them. In preparation for the training, we ask therapists to think about their biggest challenges in utilizing ABFT with families in Tasks 1-5.<\/p>\n

The training is delivered as 6 half-day live webinars.<\/p>\n
